Short Film Competition Winner
During November we ran a short film competition with local schools, to find out what they thought of MeatFree (and MeatLess) Monday. The winning film was shown at our MeatFree Global Partners meeting for COP21 in Paris.
We are delighted to announce the winner is....
Mariam AlNayadi from Al Ittihad Private School in Abu Dhabi.
Mariam is 16 years old, and told us that she'd made the video because ... "I've heard my teacher talking a lot about climate change and global warming, and she says that it is getting worse than it ever had. And all that is because of us, because people are unaware on what is going on. I hope that people feel responsible for that and start caring. I love showing my point of view in many different ways and this video was one of them".
